  Contacted MHF about a difficult issue relating to a water damaged spot on our floor. The area that needed to be fixed was approx. 4'x4'. I learned that this was going to be a pain in the a** because of the availability and how they manufacture the types of wood flooring (discontinued styles, sizes, having to buy whole boxes, etc.). It took a little bit of time, but they ultimately found a solution. Andrei and George were both great to work with. Andrei returned my calls/texts right away, and if he didn't, he did so first thing the next morning, which was refreshing in the contractor world. George's craftsmanship was well done considering the circumstances of the issue, but he was a young man who worked clean and took pride in his work.
  
  As far as the prices, everyone hates forking over cash for repairs, but their prices were on par with other companies estimates.

  Andre was great! He was able to get our flooring in Skokie done extremely quickly without sacrificing quality. He and his crew went above and beyond installing new thresholds in two places throughout the house. I will be using Mike's Hardwood Flooring for my next project and recommend them to anyone who is looking to have the floors repaired or refinished.
