  I find them to be very professional. Sometimes, on a hot day, frozen foods are melted, but, they either redeliver, or give me a refund, & a coupon code for next time. The drivers are also the nicest people. I have been using them for a few years now, & I now have a membership.

  I have been a Peapod customer for over ten years - and previously enjoyed working with them. Today however they refused to allow me to receive alcohol in my order because they will not accept a Federally issued identification card - Global Entry - which posts a person's date of birth as well as photo . Their policy states that a customer must provide a photo id - and yet they also created an unpublished policy that eliminates Global Entry cards as acceptable. As of January 2018 Illinois drivers licenses will no longer be acceptable id's at the airport - you will either have to have a passport or global entry card. However, the drivers license is still the preferred identification for Peapod even at the risk of poor customer service and communication. Won't work with companies that put inane company policies ahead of customer service

  Am I wrong?
  Peapod Delivers just placed our 1st order for my elderly home bound parent. AAA batteries were part of the order, not delivered. Kid's Toothpaste not part of the order, delivered. Called @peapoddelivers - told me: "you'll have to place another ($60min) order to get the batteries". Lousy reply. Am I wrong?
